About the Event
Join in the conversation that came out of Debby Irving’s experiences as a community organizer delving into racism she experienced in her own life. She helps others to follow her lead of going from well-meaning to well-doing through an understanding of racial justice.
Designed to support people in making the paradigm shift from ‘fixing’ and ‘helping’ those believed to be marginalized, to focusing on bias and its role in perpetuating discrimination and how it can be overcome.
“We are in an immensely teachable moment in which many people are understanding for the first time just how misled they’ve been about America’s purported level playing field,” explains Irving.
